Passion, purpose, and an unrelenting love for the game—these are the qualities that define Coach Jamie Edwards. With over 24 years of global coaching experience and a UEFA Coaching License, Jamie has dedicated his life to shaping the next generation of soccer stars.

From coaching at world-renowned academies like FC Barcelona, Arsenal, and Juventus to earning the title of Coach of the Year in New York and New Jersey, Jamie has built a career rooted in excellence and fueled by a desire to see young athletes succeed. But his mission goes beyond the field. For Jamie, soccer is not just about winning matches—it’s about teaching life skills, instilling confidence, and creating pathways for players to reach their full potential.

Jamie founded Merak Academy to bring his vision to life: a place where players of all backgrounds could develop their skills, find joy in the game, and achieve greatness. The academy is the culmination of his experience, his belief in holistic player development, and his desire to build a community that lives and breathes the true spirit of soccer.
